What Comes Around Goes Around

I believe if you are kind and a good person, you will be rewarded. What comes around goes around.

Recently, a group of friends and I were at a park where I live. We were taking one of my friends' little cousins to play. We were having fun rediscovering games of our youth like freeze tag and hide and seek when we found a phone on the ground.

We all gathered around and tried to decide what to do. We checked the recent calls list and there was a person who had called three times. We called her but the phone was off. Unsure of who to call, we asked around the area to see if we could find someone who it could belong to.

Finding no one, we kept looking through the phone's contacts list. We called someone who knew the owner of the phone but didn't know where he was or how to get in touch with him.

Then we picked another name from the recent calls. This time, we got lucky. The person we called happened to be the phone owner's girlfriend. She told us that he was still at the park and that she would direct him to us. We waited and the owner of the phone arrived with his two children thanking us for our kindness.

We all felt really good about having done something so nice. Especially because in a big city like where I live, things like that don't often happen. I'm sure he thought his phone was long gone, stolen by any youngster in the area.

I hope that we proved to him that there are still nice noble people in the world. And though, we didn't get directly rewarded, I believe that what comes around goes around and that karma will find a way to repay me and my friends.
