Let's talk about time frames and manifesting.In regard to the law of attraction and manifesting, a very strong desire with little or no resistance can manifest quickly. For example, something or someone you love is in danger. You find immediate strength to rectify a situation or event.

If you are being playful about your want it can manifest pretty quickly. There was something I have been wanting lightly in the back of my mind. I came to the realization one day that I REALLY wanted this item.

In this particular example, I made a playful bet with a colleague of mine. If he lost the bet, I would receive the item I mentioned. He lost, I had the item within a week. That was a fun day.

Strong emotion and desire accompanied with some form of doubt will take longer. Hesitation in belief can cause a delay or in many cases, a complete disregard for your want.

If you want a raise at work... you can not be wishy washy in your want. "I want a raise, I need a raise BUT I probably won't get one because my boss is a jerk or the company is on hard times or no one recognizing my achievements" blah, blah, blah. Fill in the excuse of your choice.

Your want, in this case it can take a lot longer, or not happen at all because of your lack of belief and commitment.
