POWER OF GIVING CHARITY SUMMARY: I am a Single Mom In Need. I will start by saying thanks for taking the time to listen. I have always worked beginning at a young age of 14.
Hi to everyone. I will start by saying thanks for taking the time to listen.
I have always worked beginning at a young age of 14.
Most who know me say I am a workaholic. I am a single mom of a beautiful 13 yr old daughter.
I have suffered much despair in my life of 36 years old. I have lost my dad to a massive MI at the age of 57, my mother to breast cancer one year later at the age of 52.
I lost two brothers 13y/o and 19 y/o a year after my dad died and 6 weeks before my mom died. I have lost approx. 20+ close family members in the years to follow after my parents death.
Well to get to the point I have experienced what the doctors call panic attacks that just came on me one day while at work.
I was an infection control nurse at a large facility. I put myself through nursing school. I recently lost my job due to these horrible panic attacks that I cant seem to control no matter how I try. The doctor says post traumatic stress disorder also plays a big role.
I am trying every day to put myself back together to get back to work. I have always stayed strong and have a wonderful child who is top of her 8th grade class (yes I'm extremely proud of her so I guess I braqgged a little.)I fell behind on bills since losing my job one month ago.
I have never asked for handouts or been on wellfare but have come to terms that I need some help. I have been to counselors and struggle everyday to beat these attacks and I know in time I will win.
I live with horrible nightmares about the fire that took my two little brothers lifes and that doesnt help matters. I know this sounds like another sob story but its been my life and I have suffered so much despair but always kept my head up. What else can a person do.
I feel so ashamed for asking for financial help but dont know what to do... thanks a bunch for listening.
I appreciate people and have given the last nine years to being a nurse and helping everyone else.
