I am a 28 year old single mother caring for a 2.5 beautiful girl & consider myself orphan. I moved to NYC at the age of 16 as a refuge due to an abusive father. I still suffer from a painful nightmare which is still affecting my daily life.

I moved to Ontario Canada at the age of 22 to speed up my refuge case status and I met my daughter's father when I was 25. I got pregnant and decided to keep the baby. I had 2 surgeries after the delivery. The father could not handle the baby and me being in need of care during recovery time. He decided to leave and left me with a lot of debt. All I can say that I suffered a lot trying to cop with my daily financial needs. I reach the point where I can not hide it anymore. I finally got a decent job with a decent salary. However I will appreciate & I do feel so ashamed asking for charity. I do prefer loan and pay it back if anybody can please help me until I get on my feet & settle down.
