Scared Wife and Mom After Husband Came Home From Iraq "Different"

Hi! This is very hard for me to do. I have always prided myself on being extremely independent. My husband served in 4 tours, 3 Iraq and 1 Afghanistan with the United States Marine Corp.



In 2006 he got hit byan IED in Ramadi and received a Purple Heart and injuries including TBI. We have basically been in and out of VA Medical Centers since then.

Most recently he seemed to be on the rise, he thought he could get a job and start to be the dad and husband he wanted to be.

His brain function is not as it used to be and I don't believe he has fully accepted that. He left again. Landed back in the VA in Georgia.

I'm left here at home with our 2 year old daughter, a car about to be repossesed, phones about to be cut off, rent way past due, and a stack of fears that are so overwhelming.

I don't know what to do! I would greatly appreciate any help as I figure out how to get back on my own feet!
