I pray that this letter reaches someone who is willing to sow on good ground. My son needs to come home.
I lost custody of my son Nicholas to my ex-husband about 5 yrs ago. Since then I have not spent a holiday with my son.
I have to pay child support. At first I was allowed to see my son every other weekend from Fri 3pm-Sun 3pm. I could take him anywhere I wished and had to give a 24 hr notice to take him out of state.
About 2 years after that I was not allowed to see my son at all, because my ex was asking me for cash money to see him.
Then when I went back to court I received visitation every other Sat 9-8pm within 2 hours of his home, which is 3 hours from mine.
I have had the same judge for the past 5 years, his father is well-known in his town, and they have more money and used it to tear me apart.
I had 2 attorneys that I poured money into, just to be let down.
I am a minister of music in my church and I work as a wellness coach. I have a stable life.
My son is 10 and has expressed that he wanted to return home. He spoke directly to the magistrate after telling him that he is afraid of his father.
Dss has now become involved and moved him to his grandparents, but have not returned my calls. If I had the funds I believe something would have been done and my son would be home.
Now since he told them of his decision they are speaking against me and poisoning his mind. Can anyone help?
I am in debt, because of it and am behind in Child support. I will answer any questions, provide documentation, whatever it takes. I really want what is best for Nicholas.
It seems that out of both of us I care more about the welfare of Nicholas and he uses Nicholas as a pawn to get back at me.
His father lives with a woman that he has a baby with.
I need funds to pay back cs and attorney.
