I am a retired senior citizen living on a fixed monthly income. My down fall started in July, 2004 when I was left homeless because of a fire in my apartment building and everything I owned was lost in the fire. At the time I had no apartment insurance.
I eventually found another apartment and also had a lot of things donated to me. In January, 2006 I permitted my son to live with me upon his release from prison thinking I could help him pick up the pieces from his life and become a productive person. Unfortunately, it did not work out for him nor myself.
Because of his drug addiction and my love and concern for him I find myself in a bottomless pit burying myself in debt. I have borrowed from Peter to pay Paul and wore my welcome out at the payday loan stores.
I have forgone purchasing my medicines and sometimes food because I have a dog who also must eat. I don't need permanent help only temporary to allow me to catch up on my household expenditures.
Any amount or consideration you can find in your heart to help me would be greatly appreciated.
My son has been forced to move to a home- less shelter and I hope and pray he will find deliverance from the horrible shackles of drugs.
Any and all verfications you might need I can provide.
