TERESA'S STORY:

I am in Oklahoma with my sick husband and my 6 year old daughter.

We rent a house but would like to buy one. The problem is I don't make enough money and my husband is 51 years old and has Alzhiermer's. We are in the beginning stages but he is progressing.

I have a heart of gold and can't say no to people. I take in homeless people off the street and let them stay with us for week months at a time.

I have worked 2 or 3 jobs to support my step daughters (one for a year when she got messed up with drugs and had her children taken alway from her, she is on the right path now, has her kids back and is doing well) but for the year she stayed with us she put us in bankrupcy and I can't recover from that.

I now have my second step daughter living with me for I don't know how long. She just went through a nasty divorce and I think family is very important.


I just want to give my 6 year old a home that is ours where we can paint the walls pink and put pretty pictures that she wants on the walls.

We do without because of limited income. I work and my husband gets SSD but it isn't enough with meds, doctors appointments, and everything else. I really need help with the financing and down payment.

I know I can make the monthly payment, but I can't get the down payment together.

I need to move because of my husbands health.

We don't live in the school district that my daughter goes to because I don't like that school, it doesn't have a bus system and my husband can't drive and I have to work. No work no money. So I drive 7 miles out of my way to take her to my mother and father in laws to go to school.

My goal is to find a home in that area so she can continue in her school. She misses out on alot because of her dads health. He can't be the dad he should be and I can't be the best mom because of his health it takes alot of my time.

If you could help me I would be so greatly appreciative. I am not good at asking but I would love to own my own home.
