Law of Circulation

by Sandra
(Humble, Tx)

I consider myself a giver. I have always given what I have to give to those who are in need because I wanted to help and as long as I could afford to give.

I never understood the power of giving as I often gave without expecting anything in return.

In fact, I would turn down anything that was offered to be because I did not understand what giving was about. I just knew I loved giving but I rarely gave others a chance to give to me.

That eventually caught up to me about 5 years ago after I gave up my career to stay home full time with my child.

I was so accustomed of giving that I gave too much away and never allowed myself to receive.

That hurt me financially, relationship wise, as well as in opportunity to remain independent. I have been turning that around with all the new information I have been receiving.

One law I recently learned about is the Law of Circulation. It basically says that we should give to those who we can help and we should not expect to receive anything back from those we give to; however, there are other people who are capable of giving to us and we should allow them that opportunity.

To give there must be a receiver and we should always give when we can afford to. Not because we have to but because we want to.

My life is slowly getting back on track. I learn something new everyday to regain my independence (financially, in relationships, and with opportunities).

This site is great place to learn about giving. Thanks for the opportunity to share a part of my story on giving.
