Law Of Attraction

To Think Is To Ask - Are You Asking?

law of attraction

The Law of Attraction is so much fun to think about I'm not even sure where to start.

What you think about is brought to you. Every thought is an intention. To think is to ask. The Law of Attraction is totally neutral. It doesn’t filter what you ask for. If you think about what you want, you get it. If you think about what you don’t want, you get that too. Let's take a closer look at this last statement.

Henry Ford said it best, "Whether You Think You Can or Can't, You're Right." If you think something is not possible or out of your reach, you're probably not going to commit much energy and resources to accomplishing it. By not committing yourself to reaching your end goal, your goal may very well remain out of reach.

In regard to the law of attraction, I think many people are under the misconception that if they want something they just have to think about it and the Universe will drop it from the sky to land gently at their feet. When this doesn't happen they think the process is flawed. It's not flawed though, it's actually quite beautiful. Think of it this way. Children are great examples of believing and they don't even realize it. A child wants a specific gift for Christmas and he gets it. It wasn't magic. There are a great many things that took place behind the scenes to make this happen. 1). He thought of something that he really wanted. 2). He thought about it a lot. 3). Those thoughts made him take specific actions that ended in his achievement of obtaining his wish. 4). He voiced his wish to his parents, friends, and family. Everyone around him knew what that kid wanted for Chritsmas 5).He wrote a letter to Santa, again reinforcing his desire.

And guess what? He GOT his gift!

Do you see? He committed energy and resources AND MADE IT HAPPEN.

This isn't just with material things. It works with all things. Take, for example, a promotion that is available at the office. Who do you think is going to get that promotion? The guy that is sitting at his cubicle saying over and over, "I'll never get that promotion. I KNOW they are going to give it to someone else. Life isn't fair."? Or, do you think they guy thatlaw of attraction takes steps towards getting the promotion may get it. He says, "This promotion is mine. I will get this promotion." He asks, "What can I do to be promoted. What steps can I take? Life is good, I am grateful, I will have this." Based on this two examples, who is willing this promotion into their life and who is pushing the possibility away? I know I wouldn't want to give the promotion to the sulking Doubting Thomas.

According to Wikipedia,The Law of Attraction is commonly associated with New Thought and New Age theories, beliefs, and practices. It states that people experience physical and mental manifestations that correspond to their predominant thoughts, feelings, words, and actions and that people therefore have direct control over reality and their lives through thought alone.

Wikipedia further goes on to state that a person's thoughts, conscious and unconscious, emotions, beliefs and actions are said to attract corresponding positive and negative experiences, or "harmonious vibrations of the law of attraction".

Simply put, the "law of attraction" states "you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your experience.

Hmmmm, how very intriguing.

Gautama Buddha, a spiritual teacher from Ancient India and the founder of Buddhism, said, "What you have become is the result of what you have thought."

Just remember, be grateful for the things you have. Think in the direction of things you DO want not things you DON'T want. Take action. Commit energy and resources. Be well and have a great life!
