I believe that quality of life can be better for the elderly and their families. This can be achieved by using dependable, affordable, and most importantly, in-home care, this is why my dream is to start a business that will not only help them in their homes but will also be there for them for transportation needs to and from their respective medical appointments. Your loved ones stay at home, remaining independent, while we help to improve the quality of their daily life

My way of giving back.

I am the only child in my family to at least have attended college. My Dad worked the best he could but it just seemed that the money he brought in was only enough to buy basic food and nothing more. So my mother would wake up at 5 am everyday to go in the bush to buy charcoal so she could sell in on the market for some extra money to buy books and stuff.

I did not see any hope in anything better than that but I hoped that one day I would not end up like that or even bring children in that kind of environment.

Little did I realize that it was very easy to wind up like that even when you try as hard as you can.

I got married to a physician in Africa and life started looking up until we came here for a better life.

For my husband as a physician trained in Africa, he has to take board exams in order to participate in the matching program that would enable him to do his residency.

Even with what he's got he has tried for a couple of times and has been unsuccessful. He ended up getting into law school where he graduated and became a certified lawyer for the state of Oklahoma.

Even then after all the effort he put in for a better life, there have been no good opportunities where he can make enough for us to lead a decent life for kids. At least he has a job that can pay some bills.

I know that they may are people out there with nothing, we are grateful for what we have been blessed with. He was not able not able to finish all his exams due to money issues as they can be expensive.

My journey to the land of opportunity began in Johannesburg, South Africa where we won the green card lottery to come and reside in the beautiful America, the land of opportunities.

My dream started evolving then and is finally in motion but I need help to put in place structures and the like for the business to operate legally. I am married and a mother of 3 who is trying to make it in life.

I have worked several jobs to make ends meet but recently when I had to choose between paying all of my 9 dollars per hour paycheck into daycare, I would have nothing left to pay for my bills and gas to and from work.

I choose to stay home and look after my children. As you may know that it is not a realistic thing to embark on because bills have to be paid. I love my children and do not mind just staying home for them but I need to be productive work-wise so that a simple thing like taking my children to the bookstore doesn't have to be a nightmare.

I came here from poverty stricken country where even if you had an idea of creating a better life for yourself, you had no idea of where and how to start from.

There would be no one to aid you in anyway, let alone to help you in realizing our dream, you end up dying feeling very unaccomplished.

I do not want to die like that because I know that I have so much potential that could produce a ripple effect blessings in to my community.

When you go to Zambia, Africa, you see a lot of people who have no array of hope in their eyes about a better tomorrow for them and their children, but have succumbed to the down side of life.

It doesn't have to be like that you are only as good as can be when you are alive. There is nothing as bad as having no hope in life, when you give someone hope you are in essence giving him or her life. So I kept on thinking of a way I could start my own business from home that would make a true difference in my community giving back while I was being available for my children.

Unfortunately I reached a dead end when I started browsing the local Craigslist looking for another 9 dollars per hour job.

This time I was determined to find a night shift job that way I would not have to worry about childcare during the day because then I would have to leave the kids with my husband.

I have been looking since then, I have been to several interviews but to no avail.

But is this the real answer to my problems, I think not because it will just be another Mary-go round kind of thing. My main obstacle to have the capital to start my business right now I am sitting on my big idea and not getting anywhere with it.

I am sitting on this idea and dream that I would like to be realized. I desire to build an organization that will be beneficial to our seniors and people with disabilities. I believe that life must continue despite the physical limitations that people might have, daily routines shouldn't be a problem or dropping and picking up of prescriptions but can become increasingly difficult for many older adults while juggling the responsibilities of work.

Some children don't even live in the same city as mom and dad and this makes it even more difficult to help out, even on an occasional basis.

Think of our service as an extension of your family. We are the sons and daughters that you can 'rent' so-to-speak for those times when you need help from time to time.

I believe that quality of life can be better for the elderly and their families. Need a ride to the grocery store? Not only will we drive you there, we'll help you shop and bring the groceries in for you!

Doctor appointment? Dialysis appointment? Not only will we escort them, we will provide them with companionship while they wait.

In order for me to realize this dream of giving back, I will need your help in raising funds towards this community good. Your loved ones stay at home, remaining independent, while we help to improve the quality of their daily life.

In today's society, we all lead very busy lives that looking after family members who may be seniors or disabled can become a tremendous responsibility that is why I would like to open doors for anybody who would need that help.

It's difficult to care for all of the needs of a family member and still have enough time and energy left for your own family, a job and yourself. Exhaustion and stress can become overwhelming.

We live in a beautiful country in the world, I feel blessed to be here where my hard work can be well compensated and not only in terms of monetary but also to be able to give back to my community that has been good to my family.

We choose to live in Oklahoma because it is so family friendly and would want to contribute to its richness in culture by looking after the needs of our elderly people.

America is a country known as the Land of opportunity where anybody who works hard enough can realize his or her dream of owning a successful business and being able to provide employment.

I have been blessed so much since I came here and what a better way to give back by helping to care of our seniors and people with disabilities.

As you can see we have good plans for our seniors and the disabled, any contribution you make will certainly go a long way in our goal to giving back.
