Gas Cards

Today, I went to the gas station to get some gas. I remembered a friend telling me that she had done the same and decided it was a good time to help someone else out to brighten their day.

I went inside, where there were two cashiers, a man and a woman. I asked the man where the gas cards were and both him and the woman instructed me to grab the blue one from behind me.

I took the card and 10 dollars and told the lady to put 10 dollars on the card and give it to the next person who came it to buy gas who looked like they needed it.

She gave me a weird look and I stumbled out. On my way out the door she said, "why, if you don't mind me asking?" I walked back and said "why not?" and she and the man smiled, still obviously confused.

Do something nice for someone, it makes you feel better than it makes them feel better, trust me :)
