MANOLO'S STORY:

Just facts, no sad story to try and make you feel bad.

I had been suffering from DDD for the past 27 years or so, military related. And had filed for Disability in May of 2005. I had a business and was doing O.K.

I prepared for the operation that was coming that would render me disabled.

Finally in May of 2006, one of my disc ruptured, pinching a nerve and losing all feeling in my left leg.

By December of 2006, I had lost my business. Had my operation in May of 2007. Had to sell my truck in June of 2007 to survive.

Received partial claim in Ocotober of 2007, which provided me with retro pay and a monthly pension of $700.00. That has kept us going till the present. but now, out of savings and only $700.00 per month, can't meet financial obligations.

My claim with the VA is pending, they owe me around $60,000.00 in retro pay, and will increase my pension to $2,600.00 per month, which will enable me to live and take care of my four year old Daughter, who has no say in the matter.

I just need help to survive till my claim goes through, not trying to get rich or live off of a free handout. Am willing to repay once my claim is awarded.

I've tried every organization that claims to help, but don't, they just refer you to another agency, which in turns does the same.


My daughter and I just need some financial help to pay our bills and keep from being evicted, and become another homeless statistic.
