Attracting Wealth

Attracting Wealth... what does that really mean? Your abundance, in every area, is really in your hands. On some level you already know this.

I remember when this finally started becoming clear for me. I had my ups and downs financially and as I mention on my about me page, I started off from very meager beginnings.

Some where along the line growing up I became insecure about wanting the great life. I thought I should be grateful for anything achieved above meagerness. I thought I knew my place in life and for some reason those thoughts were blue collar all the way.

But something always nagged at me... why couldn't I have nicer things? Why couldn't I shoot for the moon and get it? I was a good person, I was well liked... why was I settling for a mediocre life? Because I thought I had to. Because I didn't understand that I attracted my own wealth. I didn't understand that every thought I had regarding financial success, the people I surrounded myself with, the things I chose to buy or have all kept me from achieving financial greatness and attracting wealth.

When I started believing that I was worthy and I did deserve wealth and greatness, boy oh boy, did things in my life begin to change. One of my favorite sayings I like to use is "See it, Believe it, Take action to achieve it." That certainly applies here. SEE yourself as wealthy. Know that you are. BELIEVE you are already wealthy. You are you know? TAKE ACTION to achieve it. What are you doing right now, today, to bring wealth into your life? What are you doing? A money sack is NOT going to fall from the sky. Take action starting right now.

One of the hardest things I had to change about my thoughts was KNOWING I was already wealthy (even when I wasn't)! You have to believe you are wealthy. Why are you fretting about that unexpected medical bill? The money will come. You are wealthy. You are attracting wealth to you.

Like I said, this was one of the hardest things for me. At one point while I was in the transition of changing my thoughts to wealthy ones, I had a vet bill come up for $196.00 that I normally would have been very upset about. That same week, my son's day care notified me that my rate was going up $50.00 a month. That was $50.00 I did not have. I would have been fretting and worried sick. This time though, I said, "no worries.. I'm wealthy. The money will come." And, I meant it.

Two thing happened to me that week. 1). My sister sent me $100.00 for my birthday. 2). I received a raise at work increasing my take home pay by $224.00 a month. Yes, this really happened. It still tickles me. Did that make me rich beyond my wildest dreams? Heck no, but it sure was a nice start. My vet bill was covered, my day care increase was covered and I was well on my way to becoming a true believer in attracting wealth.

See it, Believe it, Take action to achieve it!
